John Millington Synge’s classic play *The Playboy of the Western World* brings together Nicola Coughlan, known for *Bridgerton* and *Derry Girls*, Éanna Hardwicke from *The Sixth Commandment*, and Siobhán McSweeney from *Derry Girls*. Pegeen Mike’s (Nicola Coughlan) world is turned upside down when Christy Mahon (Éanna Hardwicke) arrives at the bar claiming to have killed her father. But instead of being rejected, Christy becomes a hero; he wins everyone over. As Christy’s star continues to rise, the balance of power shifts when an unexpected figure emerges.
