In the first film, Fikret (Engin Günaydın) and Solmaz (Demet Evgar)—who fabricated a facade of a respectable family to get Emirhan married to a traditional family from Adana, only to have this secret backfire spectacularly— have, after all these years, truly become a family. However, this peculiar family never seems to escape trouble. In the second film, the characters find themselves caught up in a new and much bigger secret that surfaces just when things seem to have settled down. Once again caught in the middle of two different cultures, lies, and misunderstandings, Fikret tries to salvage the situation with his neurotic outbursts, only to drag things into an even more inescapable absurdity.
