Sarcelles, 1995. Erika is raising her two children on her own. Her daughter, Abigaelle, wholeheartedly believes that her father—whom she has never met—exists somewhere and loves her from afar. When Abigaelle decides to search for her father, Erika reluctantly supports her daughter’s endeavor, partly out of a desire to protect her from potential disappointment. As the years go by, this search turns into an obsession that affects not only the mother and daughter but also Abigaelle’s best friend and others close to them.
