George Michael: The Faith Tour brings to the big screen previously unreleased footage from George Michael’s concerts in Paris as part of the 1988 Faith Tour, which marked the peak of his solo career.
The film is compiled from footage shot on 35mm film with 14 cameras during George Michael’s two concerts at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in May 1988. Rediscovered years later, the recordings have been restored and remastered, bringing the artist’s stage performance from the *Faith* era and the atmosphere of his first solo tour to the present day. The concert film also opens with a short film titled *Finding Faith*, directed by Mary McCartney. Compiled from newly discovered audio recordings and footage from the 1986–1988 period, this segment offers a more personal look at this significant era in George Michael’s career.
