The story follows Harper, a young woman, and Charlie, a young man, as they meet, leave their homes, and attempt to build a life together in a new city. While the ambitious and determined Harper tries to build a career as a chef, the intelligent but perpetually disorganized Charlie struggles to get his life in order, and their relationship faces increasing challenges.
