The Wave
Julia, a passionate music student, becomes active in the feminist movement on her university campus, which draws attention to the widespread harassment and mistreatment that many of her fellow students are subjected to. During protest marches and solidarity actions with her friends, she dances, sings and recalls her own traumatic experiences. When she finally finds the courage to share her story, she unexpectedly becomes the central figure of the movement. This new role forces them to confront their identities as survivors and to confront a society that demands change but also resists it.
