The movie tells the story of the Hancıoğlu family's struggle to survive in Istanbul after they are forced to leave Boyabat and their luxurious life due to bankruptcy.
Günfer and Gökhan, the legendary couple of Boyabat, are plunged into a great disaster after their marriage: The Hancıoğlu family goes bankrupt, the mansion is foreclosed and their whole order is turned upside down. Desperately seeking refuge in Istanbul, the two embark on all kinds of adventures as they try to hold on to life again in Rıza's house. Gökhan tries every job from fishing to pirate taxi driving, from rice trading to performing on stage, but he is unable to make ends meet. Günfer, on the other hand, faces events that test her marriage, love and patience as she struggles to survive. Their tragicomic struggle to protect their love in the chaos of Istanbul turns into an adventure that both makes you laugh and breaks your heart.
