Ayşe and her brother Ridvan, who has Down syndrome, live on the outskirts of Istanbul, a constantly growing and changing city. Their father has been in hospital for a long time waiting for his death. When she receives a marriage proposal from an international truck driver who stops by the gas station where she works, Ayşe is forced to choose between her fate and her dreams.
