Peter Parker was an outcast in high school, abandoned by his parents and raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like many teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to where he is today, while struggling with love, commitment and secrets with his first love, Gwen. When Peter finds a briefcase belonging to his father, he begins his search to understand why his parents disappeared. This leads him to Oscorp and the lab of his father's former partner, Dr. Curt Connor. Spider-Man comes face to face with Connor's alter ego. Using his powers, Peter makes a life-changing decision and sets his destiny to become a hero.
