Based on a true story, the movie tells the story of Jeffrey Manchester, a gentleman thief nicknamed the Rooftop Man for his rooftop robberies, who escapes from prison, hides in a toy store for months and starts a new life in the area.
Jeffrey Manchester is a former Special Forces soldier who earned the nickname "The Man on the Roof" for his robberies of restaurant rooftops. After being captured and escaping from prison, Jeffrey goes into hiding and lives undetected in a massive Toys "R" Us toy store. Under the noses of employees and customers, but sometimes the best hiding place is the most visible. Jeffrey professionally plans his next move.
