"Take Heart and Walk was my response as a filmmaker to the ongoing massacre of Palestinians. It was my way to keep my sanity. A miracle happened when a Palestinian friend introduced me to Fatem. From then on, she became my eyes in Gaza as I documented the war, trying to survive under the bombs. I became his link to the outside world from the prison of Gaza, as he called it. We kept this lifeline alive for more than 200 days. The pixels and fragments of sound we sent to each other make up the movie you see here.
