Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman years later. After their extraordinary identity change in the first movie, the story continues this time with Anna trying to build a completely different life with her own daughter and stepdaughter. Tess and Anna are once again caught unprepared by the surprises of fate as they try to cope with the difficulties they face in the process of reuniting the two families.
