The family of a cute dinosaur living in a comic book created by an illustrator named Ted mysteriously disappears. At a time when the publisher Ted has been working with for his dinosaur stories is preparing to delete all the comics after the project is terminated, Diplodocus discovers his ability to travel between the worlds in the stories. He sets out to save his family with Hocus Pocus, a magician he meets during his new travels, and clever and strange scientists like Professor Nervekowsky and Entomology.
