We're in a town in the Rockies in '30s America. Fleeing from the gangsters who are after her, the beautiful Grace is forced to take refuge in a town. The townspeople take pity on her and initially take her in with good intentions. However, as the woman's position poses a danger to them, their relationship begins to take on different dimensions. Grace begins to see the other side of the townspeople and helplessly finds herself a victim.
