Sirât

A man and his son arrive at a remote rave in the arid, ghostly mountains of southern Morocco. They search for Mar, their daughter and sister, who disappeared months ago at one of these never-ending parties. They share her photo again and again, surrounded by electronic music and a kind of freedom they've never known. Driven by fate, and hoping to find Mar there, they decide to follow a group of ravers to the last party to be held in the desert.
Film by the award-winning Spanish director Óliver Laxe comes fresh from this year's Cannes Film Festival where it was screened in the main competition programme racing for the Palme d'Or.
