A musician named Alexander Hacke comes to Istanbul, even though he does not know any Turkish, to understand the musical genres that reflect the cultural mix and to record the harmonious resonances in the city. Here he meets Selim Sesler. The dialogues between them begin to develop with the language of music. Then, many musicians and singers join their adventure and the polyphonic choir of Istanbul emerges. The difference of styles becomes the most unifying feature of their common goals. Their goal is to make the song of Istanbul.
