The film takes place in the South, 2 years before the American Civil War, and Slave Django plays the German-born bounty hunter Dr. It begins with him crossing paths with King Schultz.
Django makes a deal with Schultz, who wants to capture his former master dead or alive, and promises to bring the Brittle brothers to him in exchange for his freedom. The mission is completed successfully, but the duo's paths are inseparable. Together, Schultz and Django go after the South's most wanted criminals. Django now has only one goal: to find and save his wife, Broomhilda, whom he lost due to the slave trade...
