When Ashley and her young daughter Sarah become involved in a criminal enterprise that puts their lives at risk, she tries to reach the only person who can help: her father. Ashley's estranged father, Matt, lives the life of a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands. While they go to the island and meet up with Matt, they are also pursued by crime boss Donnie and his lieutenant Bobo. As Ashley, Sarah and Matt become embroiled in an increasingly dangerous network, Ashley quickly learns that her father has a secret past that he knows nothing about and that there is more to his father than meets the eye.
